Haiku for the Current Moment


certain as sunset
only death and taxes once
now foreclosure too

funny, I chuckled. Not only, because this is very apt, but, we both had the same idea for a short post!

Certainty is not a Buddhist concept which adds to the haiku, since the poem for me is really about impermanence, which I'm told is also impermanent. I guess the sunset is only "kind of" certain.
